Youth Worker - Coffee Project

Hours of work: Full Time
Duration of post: 18M FTC with a view to permancy
Salary: £29,101

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Project Manager to join our growing team at Young Swindon and Wiltshire and lead our Solid Ground Coffee Project!

We are looking for a self-motivated and organised person who is passionate about helping young people and happy to play a leading role in the management of our social business; Solid Ground. This includes day to day management of our food van, located at Clarence house, and our Café, due to open spring 2026 in Swindon town centre, as well as mentoring a cohort of young employees from across different referral pathways to gain experience, wellbeing support, skills and confidence.

Lead for Health

Hours: 21 hours a week (0.6FTE)
Part-time, Fixed term contract
Salary: £20,865 (FTE £34,775)
Location: Salisbury

We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual to take a lead on our expanding work with Health! Young Swindon and Wiltshire (YSW) exist to empower young people to be their best self by increasing their confidence, improving relationships and increasing engagement in healthy and positive activities. We’ve been doing this for over 25 years and would love you to join us on the adventure.

We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic and organised person who will take a leading role in the management and development of our work supporting young people with long-term health conditions. You will be a self-starter, happy to work on your own, but also able to build a supportive team around you. You will be a clear and confident communicator with both the team, young people and our external partners. Ultimately though, finding someone with the right character and personality is the most important thing for us, so if you don’t have direct experience of this, please don’t let that stop you from applying – we are happy and able to train you up as we go.

Trustee - Legal

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a background in legal to join our trustee board! Young Swindon and Wiltshire exists to empower young people to be their best self by increasing their confidence, improving relationships and increasing engagement in healthy and positive activities. We’ve been doing this for over 25 years and would love for you to join us on the adventure!

Following a recent skills audit, we are on the look out for an individual with expertise in legal and governance to support our trustee board’s ongoing development and ambitions as they lead our organisation into our new 5 year strategy.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Contribute actively to the board by giving strategic direction, setting overall policy, defining goals and evaluating performance against agreed targets
  • Represent the organisation to a wide range of stakeholders
  • Ensure the ongoing growth and development of an active and impactful organisation
  • Ensure we have equity, diversity and inclusion at the heart of all decision making

We ask for a time commitment of roughly 8 evening meetings a year, attendance at our quarterly sub-committee and roughly 2 hours a month of administration.
